I'm so Proud!

I am so proud of Steve. He had his first visit from the clinical education coordinator yesterday. Alden told him that it is all down hill from here though. The site Steve is at is known to be particularly hard and have long hours. Alden chose the three students to put there, but they are older students who have more life experience and are more mature. Not the young ones fresh out of under grad.

I can only assume that the younger crowd tends to not quite understand work ethic, etc. I knew my hubby could handle it. I am just glad that someone else sees it too. Alden said that Steve will flat out seem bored by several of his rotations from here on out. Hey, at least he is getting the worst out of the way before the baby arrives.

Now back to bed to try and sleep a little since I just saw school is on a 2 hr DELAY! WOOHOO!

So I feel like a major jerk because I realized this morning that I hadn't visited your blog in a while... I had no idea HOW long a "while" it had been!

This is long overdue, but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I just got all caught up on your posts :)

And (flashing back to your initial post about being pregnant) by the time they hand the baby to you, you really won't care if she's cleaned up or not... I was a little grossed out by that prospect as well, but it ended up not being a big deal at all.

Hey Jen, I have a friend at my church who is just starting the process of trying to adopt a little one from China. I was wondering if I could give her your email address/blog address? (Do you still have your blog set up so that you have to be specifically invited to read it?)

That's fine. Unfortunately, I can't remember who Fantasy Writer is. I can't access your profile, so I can't jog my memory and I don't want to look like a fool and guess the wrong person :) I suppose I can blame it on pregnancy brain!

Hey Jen, sorry, I usually sign my name to my posts. This is Jenelle Schmidt :) that's strange that my profile is blocked, I'll have to look into that...

Like you, Jennifer, we had no question about whether Stephen was capable! He has been an amazing
"mature" student and now he is an
amazing Physician's Assistant.
A great part of his success can be attributed to you, Jennifer. You have always stood behind him and kept the "home fires burning" in his absence. CONGRATS to both of you.
Stephen's Dad and Mama
P.S. When is the baby going to arrive?!!!!
