Keys, Anyone?

If you know me at all. This story will be all too familiar. I could NOT find my keys this morning. Yesterday, Stephen moved the car into the garage for me. I asked Lily to get the keys out of the stroller (from our walk yesterday) and give them to him so he could move the car.

L maintains that she did that and "rode" in the front seat when Daddy moved the car. Daddy says that he used his keys to move the car. Over the course of several texts between Stephen and I, we both are still pretty sure of our "positions."

Finally, it is passed time to leave to take L to preK. I decided to to just use Stephen's key and take her and sort it out later. I am getting ready to buckle L in and she gets really excited . . .

"I member. There are right here. I put them here (pointing to the console) b/c Daddy had his key to move the car. Lily saves the day!!!!!!" I didn't have the heart to tell her that she's the one who created the mess in the first place :)

Moral of the story: We were BOTH right! How often does that happen?
